Medicard is a mechanically powered medicine dispenser unit. A common issue experienced by people taking medicine is forgetting or mistaking prescriptions, particularly at higher qualities or frequencies. Medicard can store a variety of medicines in individual compartments and dispenses them in multiple configurations tailored to each user by the simple insert of a credit card sized chip. The flexibility of this system allows one Medicard storage unit to provide medicine for an entire household, whilst the absence of electricity or complex actuators allows users to safely open and refill the system themselves.
